The adsorbent is regenerated in the same plant, the process being characterised in that at least three drying-regenerating reactors mounted in parallel and appropriately interconnected are employed, two of the said reactors operating in a drying phase and the third in a regeneration phase, and in that two devices ensuring a drop in the pressure of the said gas are arranged at suitably chosen places in the trajectory of the gas in the plant; the invention also relates to a device for using the said process. <IMAGE>
