PURPOSE:To select a metering pulse rate during the calling of a slave station and to send out metering pulses to a public telephone terminal, and sending out the metering pulse frequency to a master station when the talk ends by providing the slave station with a receiving and storing circuit for the metering pulse rate and a receiving and displaying circuit for time information. CONSTITUTION:The number analyzing circuit 23 of the master station 20 analyzes a calling and a called subscriber number when the slave station 34 originates, and the analysis output is used to decide on a corresponding metering pulse rate in a metering pulse rate table memory 24. Further, the local time information on the slave station is selected among outputs of timer circuits 29-31 of the master station and said rate and time information are sent out to the slave station. The slave station receives and stores those pieces information by a receiving circuit 38 and in a timer circuit 39. The call state of the public telephone terminal 44 is monitored by a telephone terminal state monitoring circuit 43. This circuit 43 controls a metering pulse generator 40 during telephone service and the metering pulse rate corresponding to the terminal 44 is sent out on the basis of said information. Then, the circuit 43 sends out the counted value of a metering pulse call meter 41 after the service. |
