PURPOSE:To simply perform the lamination treatment of the recording image of a print and to impart characteristics such as water resistance, abrasion resistance and solvent resistance, etc. to an image, by constituting the title member so that a releasable transfer layer has a layer containing an ultraviolet absorber and a layer containing a light stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:A protective member, which is constituted of a base material provided with a releasable transfer layer consisting of a layer containing at least an ultraviolet absorber and a layer containing a light stabilizer, is superposed to the recording image surface 3a of a print. Next, the resulting composite is treated by a laminating apparatus equipped with a pressure roller to bond the protective member to the recording image surface 3a under heating and pressure through the transfer layer 1. The transfer layer 1 is adhered to the recording image surface 3a of the print 3 by this treatment. Subsequently, the base material 2 is released from the transfer layer 1 in such a state that the sufficient bonding strength of the transfer layer 1 to the recording image surface 3a was obtained and only the transfer layer 1 is left on the recording image surface 3a to complete lamination treatment. |
