PURPOSE:To provide a fragrant interior material capable of emitting fragrance for a long period, by applying a layer of phytoncide-containing microcapsules to the back surface of the paper layer of an interior material. CONSTITUTION:An interior material containing fragrant agent is produced by laminating the top-coating layer 1 composed of an amino alkyd or urethane resin, the gravure ink layer 2 composed mainly of pigment and nitrocellulose, the paper layer 3 for decorative board, the ink layer 4 containing phytoncide- containing micro-capsules, and a plywood 6 of 2.5mm thick bonded to the ink layer 4 with an vinyl acetate resin adhesive 5. The laminate emits fragrance extremely slowly for a long period to unnecessitate the frequent replenishing of the fragrant material.
