TREATMENT OF MEA DETERIORATED SUBSTANCE IN SULFIBAN DESULFURIZATION

摘要

PURPOSE:To perform stable treatment, by adding an iron powder to a MEA deteriorated substance and converting free cyanide to immobilized cyanide before applying activated sludge treatment. CONSTITUTION:An iron powder 9 is preliminarily charged in and mixed with a part of the recirculated solution issued from a reboiler 3 on the way of the guidance thereof to a reclaimer 5 and the waste water issued from the reclaimer 5 is temporarily stored in a MEA deteriorated substance tank 6 and introduced into an aeration tank 7 by a predetermined amount along with an ammonical liquor from an ammonical liquor supply line 8. By this method, the free cyanide contained in the MEA deteriorated substance is changed to immobilized cyanide.
