PURPOSE:To simplify the lamination treatment of a recording image of a print and to impart characteristics such as water resistance, abrasion resistance and solvent resistance, etc. to an image, by constituting a releasable transfer layer so as to have a layer containing an ultraviolet absorber and a layer containing a fluorescent brightener. CONSTITUTION:A protective member, which is constituted of a base material provided with a releasable transfer layer consisting of a layer containing at least an ultraviolet absorber and a layer containing a fluorescent brightener, is superposed to the recording image surface 3a of a print 3. Next, the resulting composite is treated with a laminating apparatus equipped with a pressure roller to bond the protective member to the recording image surface 3a of the print under heating and pressure through the transfer layer 1. By this treatment, the transer layer 1 is adhered to the recording image surface 3a of the print 3. Subsequently, the base material 2 is released from the transfer layer 1 in such a state that the sufficient bonding strength of the transfer layer 1 to the recording image surface 3a was obtained and only the transfer layer 1 is left on the recording image surface 3a to complete lamination treatment. |
