PURPOSE:To provide a spindle apparatus having excellent high-speed rotation performance and power consumption characteristics, by attaching a neck bearing to a casing via a cushioning member having radially symmetrical form and placing a driver of the spindle shaft to the side of the end bearing. CONSTITUTION:The end bearing 2 is fixed to the bolster 1, and the neck bearing 3 is attached to the bolster 1 through a cushioning member 5 having radially symmetrical form. A pulley 7 rotated by a driver with a flat belt B is attached to the lower end of the spindle. Since the neck bearing 3 absorbs the vibration, the spindle can be rotated stably at a high speed, i.e. at >=20,000rpm. |
