PURPOSE:To burn an inflammable gas containing a furnace waste gas to raise the temperature of the waste gas to raise the temperature of combustion air by forming an outer shell cavity for absorbing the furnace gas at the outer peripheral part of a combustion chamber and also forming a cavity for air at the outer shell outer peripheral part. CONSTITUTION:An outer shell cavity 6 is formed at the outer side of a combustion cylinder 2 of the burner 1 to circulate and burn an atmospheric gas within the furnace 5. A cavity 7 for combustion air is provided at the outer side of the outer shell cavity 6 to circulate combustion air to perform a heat exchange between the combustion gas within the outer shell cavity 6 and combustion air within the cavity 7 for combustion air at the outer side of the outer shell cavity 6, whereby the influences of the reduction in the burning quantity of the burner 1 and the increase in the temperature of combustion air, do not affect the combustion within the combustion cylinder 2. |
