<p>PURPOSE:To markedly reduce running cost of the title heater, by a method wherein a gas turbine is driven by a combustion gas, and combustion air is supplied under pressure to a gas burner by a compressor operated by an output of the turbine. CONSTITUTION:A combustion chamber part 4A of a pressurization-type gas burner 4 is immersed in water stored in a hermetically sealed type water tank 3. When combustion is started, the gas turbine is started by the combustion gas supplied through a bypass pipe 14 and a combustion gas passage 9, and supply of combustion air under pressure by the compressor 7 is started. When the output from the turbine 8 is increased and self-operation of the heater is started, a starting motor-driven fan 12 is stopped, and a flow control valve 15 in the bypass pipe 14 is gradually closed to increase the pressure inside the combustion chamber, whereby the combustion gas is ejected from a combustion gas ejecting port 4B into water in a bubble state. Stored water heated by the ejected combustion gas is pumped out through a hot water take-off passage 1 under the pressure of the combustion gas in the tank 3.</p> |
