PURPOSE:To provide a hot water supply device of the single-pipe system capable of supplying hot water instantaneously on opening of a tap, by providing a hot water insulating tank in the vicinity of a hot water supplying pipe leading from a water heater to a tap. CONSTITUTION:With a tap 3 opened, residual water in a pipe 2' leading from the hot water insulating tank 4 to the tap 3 is first ejected, and then hot water contained in the tank 4 is ejected through the tap 3. Since the tank 4 is provided in the vicinity of the tap 3 and the length of the pipe 2' from the tank 4 to the tap 3 can be reduced to zero, hot water in the tank 4 is ejected immediately on opening the tap 3, so that it can be used immediately. |
