摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure that fresh water into which salt components are mixed due to leakage in the interior of a heat exchanger can be treated without causing environmental pollution, by a method wherein a fresh water shut-off valve is closed in response to a signal from a salt component detector, and thereafter a blow valve is opened to discharge fresh water with the salt components mixed therein into a solar pond. CONSTITUTION:The fresh water shut-off valve 5 and a saline water shut-off valve 6 of a salt-containing type solar pond 1 are closed by a signal from the salt component detector 7 for the purpose of shutting off a passage on the secondary side (fresh water side) or the primary side (saline water side), while the blow valve 8 is opened similarly by a signal from the detector 7 for the purpose of discharging water on the secondary side into the solar pond 1. When leakage is generated in the interior of the heat exchanger 3 and salt components are mixed in from the primary side to the secondary side, the detector 7 detects this condition, and outputs a signal to the valve 5 or the valve 6 to close the latter, thereby shutting off the passage. When the blow valve 8 is opened by the signal at an appropriate time, fresh water with salt components mixed therein in the system can be discharged into the solar pond 1 without discharging it to the exterior of the system.
