The device forms part of a radar receiver which has a number of resolution cells, and each cell is compared (2) with other cell levels providing a cell index variant over the total number of range cells. A correlator (3) then correlates the comparison obtained from each resolution cell, and passes the results to an integrator which integrates a number of cycles. The outputs are compared with a threshold level (5) and target presence determined. |
