PURPOSE:To enable the smooth start and operation of a stopped blower, by applying a part of the wind pressure of a working blower to the stopped blower to slowly rotate the drive section of the stopped blower. CONSTITUTION:Funnel-shaped guide pipes 17a, 17b are provided in the central portions of partition plates 8a, 8b. Wind quantity regulation valves 18a, 18b are provided in the central portions of the guide pipes 17a, 17b. The front openings of the guide pipes 17a, 17b are almost perpendicularly opposed to the fins 13, 14 of fans 3, 6 when the partition plates 8a, 8b are closed. A part of the wind pressure of a working blower is applied to the fins 13, 14 of a stopped blower through the guide pipes 17a, 17b to slowly rotate the drive section of the stopped blower. The drive section stopped for a long time is thus protected from rust and damage.
