PURPOSE:To attain the accurate recording/reproducing jobs by using a wind flow generator set to a mounting device which holds rotatably a recording medium and a wind tunnel device which leads the wind flow to a shift device which shifts an optical head. CONSTITUTION:The blades 7a are attached to the lower surface side of a turntable connected to a disk motor 3 and therefore a wind flow is produced forcibly toward an arrow head A. A taper is provided on the upper surface side of the motor 3 so that the wind flow is not rebounded on the upper surface 3a of the motor and that the wind flows smoothly. A wind tunnel 8a is attached at the outer circumference of the outside frame of the motor 3 and the wind flow is led to the side face of a guide rail 6c to minimize the amount of the dust stacked on the rail 6c. As a result, a roller can slide smoothly on the rail 6c and the shift of a carriage holding an optical head 5 is not disturbed by the dust, etc. This attains the accurate recording/reproducing jobs.
