PURPOSE:To measure properly temperature irrespective of the fluctuation of emissivity by taking out heat radiation energy out of a subject available from comparing a subject to be measured and a perfect reflectance through each heat receiving antenna and measuring temperature at a noise temperature where output signals become equal. CONSTITUTION:The heat receiving antenna 13 is installed by facing the subject to be temperature-measured 11 to take out the heat radiation energy of said subject 11. A comparing antenna 18 is installed by facing the comparison subject 18a having an emissivity of '1' to take out its heat radiation energy. The output signals of the antennas 13 and 18 are led to a radio meter 17 through a changeover switch 14 and a circulator 16, and their temperature difference is obtained by a lock-in amplifier 22 and a signal processing part 23. According to the temperature difference signal noise temperatures impressed to respective antennas from a high temperature noise source 25 are adjusted, and the temperature of the subject to be measured 11 is obtained with the aid of the temperature where the temperature signals of both antennas are equal.
