<p>PURPOSE:To accommodate a low speed terminal equipment efficiently to a high speed TDMA communication system by sending low speed data from each terminal equipment at ramdom to a satellite repeater in one or plural time slots, sending a carrier to a master station in a ground line and sup erposing the random multiple access system retransmitting a packet in case of collision. CONSTITUTION:Transmission data SU1...SUn from users 1-n are formed into a packet at time division random multiplexers 11...1n and sent to a TDMA equipment as transmission signals SDi1...SDin. In this case, a carrier-on signal is sent to the TDMA equipment together with the transmission timing of each packet. When data TDMA equipment receives the carrier-on signal, the transmission signals SDi1...SDin are compressed by TDMA multiplex sections 101...10n, the result is given in the i-th time slot in the TDMA frame and the result is sent to TDMA line outputs C111...C11n. In connecting the title system to the TDMA line in this way, since plural users make communication while a single or plural time slots are shared in common, the connection with an optional party is attained by using an opposite station number being a part of the packet so as to designate the communication party.</p> |
