PURPOSE:To perform trimming or masking by simple structure by using a light emitting element array for electrostatic discharging for prevention against the formation of a black frame as an array for electrostatic discharging for partial copying. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting element array 110 for prevention against black frame formation which is provided between an electrostatic charging electrode and a developing device is used for electrostatic discharging for partial copying. An aimed area 52 is determined in an original 51 on an original platen 50, either trimming or masking is determined, and a specifying key 64 for the determination is pressed. Then, a ten-key 61 is operated to input coordinate values X and Y of the area 52, which are stored in a memory 24 by a control circuit 21 and also displayed on a quantity display part 66 for confirmation, so that a copy is taken automatically in selected mode. Thus, the light emitting element array is used in common to simplify the structure, and the trimming or masking is easily selected. |
