PURPOSE:To improve the step efficiency by making the effective flow path length at the inlet of static blade row shorter than that at the outlet while slightly longer than that at the output of prestage. CONSTITUTION:A portion of static blade row is choked with a choking block 3 to realize a partial injection stage. The effective flow path length (ei) at the inlet of static blade row is made shorter than that (eo) at the outlet, while slightly longer than that (e<-1>o) at the outlet of prestage. Since smoothly enlarged flow path is realized between the inlet and the outlet to reduce the enlarging loss, the stage efficiency can be improved.
