PURPOSE:To minimize a loss due to the disconnection of cable by providing the plural 1st repeaters arranged corresponding to each sensor in a local sensor group and the plural 2nd repeaters arranged corresponding one by one to the local sensor group and connecting the 2nd repeater at the uppermost stream to the measuring system. CONSTITUTION:M-set of high claas relay multiplex amplifiers incorporating submarine sensor (hereinafter high class repeater) 9i (i=1-M) and M-set of local sensor group 8i (i=1-M) are connected alternately respectively in series under a sea level 2 by a cable with a land measuring system 5. A low class repeater 7 detects the fluctuation of an earth shell 1 and applies time division multiplex to a data sent through a signal line 10 in a carrier frequency f1 from the detection data in a transmission speed Q[bit/sec], amplifies the signal and sends the data in the carrier frequency f1 to the signal line 10 again. Since the low class repeater with a small capacity is used, the cost is decreased. Further the loss due to the disconnection of the cable is minimized.
