PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency in data transfer by allowing a station equipment receiving invitation of transmission and acquiring the right of transmission to give a command to an object station equipment as a direct destination not through a station controller so as to send a frame. CONSTITUTION:When the work station A2 receives a POL frame addressed to the own station from the station controller 1, the station A2 sends a DATA frame including a data to be transferred as a data 11, an address of a work station B3 to receive the said data as a destination address 7, and the own address as a sender address 10. Then the work station B3 receives directly the DATA frame according to the destination address 7. The station controller 1 while supervising the frame on a transmission line fetches the said DATA frame to confirm that it is a transfer data from the work station A2 to the station B3. Since the intervention of the station controller is omitted in the communication between the station equipments the efficiency of data transfer is improved and the time required for data transfer is reduced.
