PURPOSE:To make it possible to add a program without receiving the limitation of the memory size in a processor and to expand service by a store and forward exchange by providing the processor which is for an overlay control only at the store and forward exchange operating with a distribution process system. CONSTITUTION:A call which is passed through a processor 15 for the first exchange control is processed by a program stored at a control part 1. When it is needed that the process requests the program which is hard to be stored at the control part 1 due to the memory size limit, the processor 15 sends an overlay control command to a processor 17 for the overlay control only through a communication bus 12. The processor 17 reads out the program which is to be overlaid to the processor 15 with controlling an auxiliary memory device 10 and an overlaying memory 8 by a processor 7 from the auxiliary memory device 10 to the overlaying memory 8 and through the communication bus 12, the program is sent to the control part 1 of the processor 15 and after that, it is transferred from the control part 1 to an overlaying memory 2. Thus, the same effect as the increase of the memory size of the control part 1 in the processor 15 is spurious obtained. |
