<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damages to a tape and a mechanism and to improve the operability of a tape player by so designing the titled mechanism that ejection is applied automatically when a prescribed number of tape runnings and stops are detected within a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A running/stop number time counter functioning as a calculation means of the stop number of tape running and time is set initially and a signal from a tape running detection circuit is used to execute a program. The presence of running stop is discriminated as the 1st stage, and whether or not the number of running stop is, e.g., 3 times is discriminated as the 2nd stage, and when the number of times is 3, ejection is commanded to the mechanism drive circuit. Further, when it is discriminated as No in the 1st and 2nd stages, whether or not a preset time is elapsed is discriminated. When the time is not elapsed, the discrimination of the presence of stop is repeated again, and when the time is elapsed, the running stop number time counter is restored to the initial set state and a signal is sent from the tape running detection circuit newly.</p> |
