BONDING OF POLYOLEFIN RESIN SHEET

PURPOSE:To obtain satisfactory bonding force even when the surface of a base material is curved by a method wherein hot-melt adhesive is ineterposed between a polyolefin resin sheet and the base material and the periphery of said sheet is enclosed with heat-resisting film and said adhesive is heated under reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of a polyolefin resin sheet 2 is enclosed with heat-resisting film 5 under the state that hot-melt adhesive 1 is interposed between the resin sheet 2 and a base material 4 and at the same time the interior of an enclosed part is evacuated so as to apply the atmospheric pressure through the film 5 to the resin sheet 2 in order to press the resin sheet 2 against the base material 4. Under the above-mentioned state, the whole body is heated and cooled and finally the bonding operation is completed by removing the heat-resisting film 5 from the whole body. Because the uniform pressing force is applied over the whole bonding surface even the surface of the base material 4 is curved or has large irregularities, the strong bonding force is obtained.
