<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of detecting the angle of polarization by a magnetical Kerr effect by the light reflected from a magnetic material in the stage of reading out a record by packing the magnetic material into the respective fine pores of a porous anodized film on the surface of a substrate consisting of aluminum or the alloy thereof and coating further the same with a thin magnetic material film having large saturation magnetization. CONSTITUTION:The porous anodized film 2 is formed on the substrate 1 consisting of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy. The magnetic material 4 of pure iron or nickel, cobalt or the alloy thereof, etc. is packed into the fine pores 3 of the film 2. The thin film 10 consisting of the magnetic material having the large saturation magnetization such as iron, cobalt, nickel or the alloy thereof is so formed on the film 2 as to cover the top surface thereof and to smooth the surface. More specifically the film 10 is so formed as to cover the top surface of the material 4 packed into the pores 3 and to coat the surface of an Al2O3 layer 9 in the peripheral part of each pore 3.</p> |
