PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a separator of special length and to reduce the production cost by producing in advance the regular length separator having connecting part at both ends and by performing extension work between the connecting parts of the regular length separator in case of the regular length separator not serving the purpose. CONSTITUTION:The separator 6 of the aiming special length is produced with the extension work of the adequate place between both ends of spiral shaft parts 3a, 3b by the regular length separator 6 which is shorter than the aiming length and of the length closest to said length in case of several kinds of the regular length separator 1 not serving the purpose. As for said extension work method, for instance the intermediate part of the regular length separator 1 is fed between a pair of the pressure rollers 7a, 7b for serving for feeding as well and extended to the aimed length.
