PURPOSE:To enable to transfer images showing fluorescence with high intensity, having high color density and prevented from being falsified, by a method wherein a fluorescent substance is incorporated in an ink layer, and a coloring agent having little or no absorption of fluorescent light emitted from the fluorescent substance is used. CONSTITUTION:A heat-fusible ink layer comprising a coloring agent consisting of a dye and/or a pigment, a wax and a binder as main constituents is provided on a heat-resistant base. A fluorescent substance is incorporated in the ink layer, and a coloring agent having little or no absorption of fluorescent light emitted from the fluorescent substance is used. Namely, the color of the coloring agent is appropriately selected in accordance with the color of the fluorescent light from the fluorescent substance being used. Accordingly, high-intensity fluorescent light can be emitted with substantially no reduction in the color density of a recorded matter, so that the recording medium can be reliably used without possibility of falsification, even when being applied to special use such as checks and postage checks. |
