DRYER STATIONARY SYPHON ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM

A paper web drying drum comprises a condensate syphon tube which has its head near the drum inner wall. The portion of the syphon tube outside the drum is pivotally mounted and adjustable to vary the spacing between the tube head and the drum inner wall. The syphon tube passes through the steam seal of the rotary drum, and is adjustable by a micrometer mechanism.
