PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of blocking due to vaporization of ink by supplying sufficient amounts of ink to the tip of a recording electrode by using a recording electrode having may ink guide grooves along the longitudinal direction on its periphery. CONSTITUTION:A recording electrode 17, formed by molding a mixture of metal grains and a binder by extrusion and then sintering it, has many ink guide grooves 22 along the longitudinal direction on its periphery. For example, stainless steel fine grains are mixed with a binder, the mixture is molded by extrusion and sintered, and the tip portion 4 is processed into a conical form to obtain a bar-like part of 0.5mm diameters and 20mm lengths, having the tip 4 of 0.1mm R. Ink flows in the longitudinal direction of the grooves 22 on the periphery of the electrode 17 without any resistance and is supplied in sufficient amounts to the tip 4. |
