PURPOSE:To enable image to be transferred with high image quality irrespectively of the surface condition of a transfer recording paper, by a method wherein a heat-fusible ink is constituted of a coloring agent, a wax, a thermoplastic resin and an adhesiveness-giving resin, and the viscosity of the ink at a specified temperature is set in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The heat-fusible ink layer 22 is provided on a base 21. The ink layer 22 is constituted of a coloring agent, a wax, a thermoplastic resin and an adhesiveness-giving resin. The thermoplastic resin is an ethylene-vinyl acetate resin, an ethylene-acrylic resin, a vinyl acetate resin or the like. The adhesiveness-giving resin is a terpene resin or the like. The viscosity of the ink layer 22 measured at 100 deg.C by a Brookfield viscometer is set to be 150-1,500aPa.s. Accordingly, ink images with high image quality can be transferred even to a transfer recording paper having a Bekk smoothness of 30-40sec without being affected by the surface condition of the paper. |
