PURPOSE:To decrease the noise influence to be exerted to peripheral electronic equipment and to prevent malfunction by superposing the output current from a specifically constructed high-frequency generating circuit on the welding current to be supplied from a main power supply to arc load. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency oscillator, waveform forming circuit and boosting transformer are provided to the high-frequency generating circuit 5 and the output signal from the high-frequency oscillator is boosted by the boosting transformer via the waveform forming circuit. The output radio wave from the high-frequency generating circuit 5 is superposed on the welding current in a superposing circuit 6 in the stage of impressing the welding current between an electrode 2 and a base metal 3 from the main power supply 1 and generating an arc 4. The high-frequency current to be superposed is nearly the single number of wave and therefore the noise influence to be exerted to the peripheral electronic equipment is decreased and the extremely easy preventive measure is made possible.
