PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and to simplify the structure by constituting a carry moving device of a rack provided to the 1st or 2nd carry, a slide member in contact with a contact part provided in a player housing, a gear meshing with the rack and a bias force providing means. CONSTITUTION:A couple of slide members 35 are provided on the lower face of the 1st carry 32 to clip the 2nd carry from the left and right, they are reciprocated within a prescribed range in forward/backward directions to the 1st carry 32, the other end of a coil spring 36 fitted to the 1st carry 32 is connected to one end to provide a bias force toward Y opposite to the arrow. The rack 35a is formed on one end of each slide member 35 with respect to its moving direction and meshes with a gear 38 provided to the lower face of the 1st carry 32. An L-shaped contact part 2a is provided to a prescribed position in the housing 2, the rear end of the slide member 35 is in contact with the contact part 2a on the way of backward movement of the disc support 5 and when the part 5 moves further backward, the 2nd carry 33 is moved backward to the 1st carry 32.
