PURPOSE:To form the contour beautifully and at a high speed by making the data to show the border of the pattern into contour information when the pattern is wide and making the pattern itself into contour information when the pattern narrow. CONSTITUTION:To three displaying memories 10 of R, G and B, simultaneously, an address is given from an address control circuit 11, three pieces of information are read, and a color code is formed by a code forming part 12. The color code respectively corresponding to the color code for the reference point and four points adjoining to it is formed, and set to a register 13 respectively. A contour processing part 14 compares the reference point set at the register 13 with respective color codes of four points adjoining to it, and when all are coincident, '0' is written to a dot corresponding to a memory 15. On the other hand, when all are dissident, '1' is written to the dot of an outline memory 15 corresponding to the adjoining point in which dissidence occurs. This is executed for respective points. At such a time, the data of the dot position of the output memory instantly goes to be '1', and then, the comparing action of the position is prohibited. |
