PURPOSE:To aim at simplification in maintenance of a floating fan and the promotion of lightweightiness in a craft body as well as to aim at improvements in suction capacity in a way of directing a suction port of the floating fan to the front of the body, by setting up the floating fan on an overhanging deck in front of a cabin. CONSTITUTION:A 'Hovercraft(R)' 11 is propelled by a propulsive propeller 20 being set up in the rear of its body, while it is controlled for its forward direction by an aerial rudder 22 being set up in the rear likewise. At the above- mentioned, on an overhanging deck 23 of the craft body, there are provided with two floating fans 13 and 13 situated in front of a cabin 16. And, each of these floating fans 13 and 13 is driven by a floating engine 24, and a shaft center 14 is directed to the front of the 'Hovercraft(R)' 11. Likewise, a suction port 25 of each duct 13a in these floating fans 13 and 13 is also directed to the front. With this constitution, the maintenance for these floating fans can be done so easily, while the width of the body is narrowed, making its weight possible to be lightened. In addition, the suction capacity in these floating fans 13 is well improvable. |
