PURPOSE:To easily make the negative plate of a color original for color printing by an electronic copying plate making method by conveying transfer materials, one by one, by a transfer belt while placing the transfer belt at contacting positions of individual photosensitive bodies, one by one. CONSTITUTION:When a transfer material 19 which is moved by the transfer belt 14 contacts reverse outer peripheral surfaces of the photosensitive bodies 3C, 3M, and 3Y, visual images on the photosensitive bodies are transferred to the transfer material 19 through the operation of transfer chargers 22C, 22M, and 22Y. In this case, >=2 color components among the visual images on the photosensitive bodies 3C, 3M, and 3Y should not be transferred to the transfer material one over another, so some part of the transfer belt 14 corresponding to transfer positions (where the transfer operation is performed by the transfer charges 22C, 22M, etc.) of the 1st photosensitive body 3C and the 2nd photosensitive body 3M can be moved up and down. When the corresponding part of the transfer belt is at an upper position, the transfer material 19 contacts the photosensitive bodies 3C and 3M, etc., and the transfer operation is performed. When the transfer belt 14 is at a lower position, the transfer operation is not performed. |
