PURPOSE:To attain to enhance mass productivity by reducing the number of assembling processes, by constituting a tuning fork vibrator from a cover plate assembled in a predetermined state and the case closed by said cover plate. CONSTITUTION:The upper part opening of a case 3 is closed by a cover plate 2 to which a tuning fork vibrator 1 was assembled and a seal material 7 is poured in the case 3 through the cover 2 in this state to complete the assembling of a load sensor. By pouring said seal material 7, required areas of the closing area of the cover plate 2 (the gap between the opening of the case and the cover) and the mount area of the tuning fork vibrator 1 to the cover plate 2 (the gap between a slit 2a and the base part 1c of the turning fork vibrator 1) can be hermetically closed by the seal material 7 and the piezoelectric transducers 4a, 4b or lead wires 6, 6 present inside the cose 3 can be protected from dust. By this constitution, the number of assembling processes can be reduced and mass productivity can be enhanced.
