A detergent composition comprises 10 parts by weight of a phosphoric acid ester of the formula (I) or (II): <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) in which R1, R2 and R3 each are a saturted or unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, X and Y each are hydrogen, an alkali metal, ammonium or an alkanolamine having 2 to 3 carbon atoms and n, m and L each are zero or an integer of 1 to 10, and (B) 0.05 to 10 parts by weight of an insoluble metal salt of a surface active agent. |
