PURPOSE:To transmit directly voice from a caller to a possessor of a pager by using a pager number from a radio paging transmitter so as to discriminate whether or not the transmission is addressed to the own transmitter, analyzing a reception frequency changeover code to switch the frequency and recording the voice from the caller after the changeover. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a radio paging transmitter is frequency-converted into an intermediate frequency f3 by a frequency mixer and demodulated by a detector 6. An own code discriminating circuit 7 discriminates whether or not a received signal is an incoming call to the own pager. In case of the incom ing call to the own pager, a reception frequency switching code is sent to a frequency switching code analysis circuit 8. The analysis circuit 8 uses the said code to decide a reception frequency f4 by which the own pager is to be switched, and the oscillating frequency f5 of a voltage controlled local oscilla tor 4 has a relation of f3=¦f5+ or -f4¦ by controlling a reception frequency switching circuit 11 so as to switch the frequency to the reception frequency f4. Then the voice from a calling subscriber is recorded by a voice recording circuit 9. |
