PURPOSE:To improve lubrication of a spline engagement part between two cases, by method wherein an oil reservoir is formed at an engagement part between the bearing part of a continuously variable transmission gear case on the output shaft side and the bearing part of a mission case on the input shaft side. CONSTITUTION:A bearing part 3 of an output shaft 1 of a continuously variable transmission gear case 2 is engaged with a bearing part 6 of an input shaft 4 of a mission case 5, and the output shaft 1 and the input shaft 4 are spline- engaged for coupling. A power is interlocked from the output shaft 1 to the input shaft 4 to interlock an interlocking mechanism within the mission case 5. The interlocking mechanism causes a part of lubricating oil to be collected and reserved in an oil reservoir 7 through the working of the interlocking mechanism to lubricate a spline engagement part.
