PURPOSE:A rubber-like polymer composition having extremely improved heat resistance, obtained by adding a p-phenylenediamine antioxidant and an epoxy group-containing silane coupling agent to a rubber-like polymer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. rubber-like polymer such as natural rubber, isoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, etc., is blended with (A) a p-phenylenediamine compound such as p-aminodiphenylamine, N-cyclohexyl-p-phenylenediamine, etc., shown by the formula I (R<1> and R<2> are H, 1-8C alkyl, cycloalkyl, or aryl) and (B) 0.01-10pts.wt., preferably 0.1-5pts.wt. silica compound such as gamma- glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, gamma-glycidoxypropyltiethoxysilane, etc., shown of the formula II or formula III (R<3> is methyl, or ethyl; n is 0 or 1) and,if necessary, other additives, to give the aimed composition.
