A blower-type fertiliser spreader has a supply container semi-mounted or trailed on a vehicle and having outflow orifices, metering members arranged thereunder and a plurality of spreading lines which are connected to these via inflow orifices and open out at distributor members at a differing distance from the longitudinal axis of the vehicle on both sides of the said longitudinal axis, and in which the material is conveyed pneumatically by means of a blower, the spreading lines being attached to jibs. The spreading lines and jibs are divided altogether into four parts, of which the outermost jib part can be folded, in the direction of travel, forwards or rearwards against the nearest inner jib part and, together with the latter, about a vertical axis in the opposite direction against the jib part located further inwards, whilst the assembly formed from the three jib parts located one behind the other in the direction of travel can be folded downwards about a horizontal axis against the upwardly foldable innermost jib part. A maximum jib length can thereby be folded into a transport position folded against the supply container, with the smallest possible height and width projection. Furthermore, the two outer jib parts can pivot rearwards and/or forwards, so that collision protection during forward and reverse travel is provided.
