The invention relates to a method and a device for detection of climatic conditions in drying installations and can be used in drying in the ceramic or the wood industry. The aim of the invention is the realistic detection of the climatic conditions and the improvement of the economy of drying installations. It is the object of the invention to make possible the determination of the climatic conditions at different points of the drying installations with constant flow conditions at the measurement transducers. According to the invention, the drying medium is removed from different drying planes, supplied to a measuring section and the flow rate is kept constant in this measuring section during the entire drying process.
