The invention relates to a device for compensation of torsional impacts having at least two coaxially arranged centrifugal masses which can be rotated relative to one another counter to the action of a damping device. To allow better matching of the damping capacity of the device to the respective application and thus allow optimisation of the damping characteristic of the device and expansion of the possible area of application, a friction damping means acting over part of the possible relative angle of rotation of the centrifugal masses is provided between the two centrifugal masses.
