The invention relates to an attachment device for horizontal shelf elements on the column of a column shelf unit. This attachment device comprises an axially divided clamping clip whose inner surface is constructed to be complementary to the outer surface of the column, and on which the shelf elements are mounted at the edge sides. The edge-side fastening provides an annular groove which is undercut axially in the radial direction and extends in the outer edge of the clamping clip, at least substantially over the entire circumference of the clamping clip. Inserted in said annular groove is a sliding body which is constructed to be complementary to the profile of the annular groove and is prepared for the connection of shelf elements.
