In a radio broadcast or video receiving set which contains a data separation circuit (4) for separating identification data words (DW1s) identifying a programme of a received transmitter, a switching signal is formed, particularly for switching-off a switched-on signal processing section (2) of the receiving set, by the fact that during a comparison of the separated identification data word with an identification data word (DW1P) of a programme request stored in a programme request memory (11), a coincidence is detected and stored and that during a second comparison process at the beginning of a subsequent programme, an anti-coincidence is detected by the change in the identification data word at the transmitter and an anti-coincidence signal (30) is generated which forms the switching signal with stored coincidence. <IMAGE>
