PURPOSE:To prevent the folding of recording paper at the terminal part thereof, by attaching a dust protective cover to an apparatus internal mechanism to the contour of an apparatus in a revolvable manner and making it possible to use the same as the guide of recording paper in an open state. CONSTITUTION:A pivot shaft 11 is attached to the cont our 10 of an apparatus as the center of rotation in a revolvable manner and a dustproof cover 9, which prevents dust from penetrating into the apparatus when the apparatus is not operated, is provided to said shaft 11. The pivot shaft 11 is set so that a part of the dustproof cover 9 is contacted with the contour 10 but the revolution beyond that is limited when the dustproof cover 9 is revolved and brought to a state almost flushing with a paper guide table 12. When the printing apparatus is used, the dustproof cover 9 is revolved while recording paper 1 is inserted between a platen roller 2 and a roller 4 and a platen is rotated to perform the feed of the recording paper 1 and, thereafter, a pen 5 is protruded and retracted, while the platen is rotated to the A-direction, to perform printing on the recording paper. At this time, the terminal part of the recording paper 1 is held by the aforesaid dustroof cover 9 to be prevented from folding. |
