PURPOSE:To reduce the damage, vibration and noise of a gear by avoiding a resonance of the rotating pulsation of an induction motor driven by a frequency converter controlled by PAM system with the gear engagement of a reduction gear. CONSTITUTION:In a drive device of an elevator, the engaging basic frequency fgo of a gear is so set as to become a range of a formula in such a manner that the frequency 6if10 of a rotating pulsation generated in a motor 4 does not coincide with the frequency fgo of the gear, where f10 is the output basic frequency of a frequency converter and (i) is the number of orders 1, 2, 3,... at input shaft 11, intermediate shaft 13 and output shaft 16 of a reduction gear 5. Thus, the resonance of the rotating pulsation of a motor 4 with the engagement of the gear is avoided to reduce the damage, vibration and noise of the gear. |
