PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion from being caused by an ink, by providing a member formed of an insulating material between different metals constituting an ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 12, a fluid resistance element 13 and a fluid rectifier element 20 are formed of nickel obtained by high-precision plating free of distortion. On the other hand, electrodes 16, 17 for a cylindrical piezoelectric element 15 are formed of gold, which is stable to soldering of leads and corrosion. Spacers 14, 19 formed of an insulating material are provided individually between members formed of different materials, namely, respectively between the element 15 and the resistance element 13 and between the element 15 and the rectifier element 20 so as to prevent an electric current from flowing between the members formed of different materials. With this construction, a cell effect is prevented from being generated when each of the parts makes contact with the ink, and corrosion is prevented from being caused by the ink. |
