The invention relates to a domestic gas connection apparatus, comprising a steel sleeve which is in the form of a capsule and onto which there is welded, at one end, a protective pipe which passes through the wall of the house to be supplied. The connection apparatus exhibits, in the interior, a shoulder which forms a jump in cross-section and it accommodates, in the space formed by the larger cross-section, sealing and connecting means in the form of spacer and flexible rings for the connection of the plastic pipe, which is introduced as supply line and engages over a supporting pipe at one end, to the steel pipe laid in the house. Furthermore, said apparatus is closed off by a screw-type closure which is used to exert pressure on the inserted rings. The object of the present invention is to provide an equally secure domestic gas connection apparatus which comprises only a very small number of parts and is thus easy to mount and can be produced with low outlay. The invention consists in that the steel pipe introduced into the sleeve in the form of a capsule bears a collar ring, the external diameter of which corresponds to the external diameter of the end side of the sleeve in the form of a capsule, and is fixedly connected to the supporting pipe, in that the sleeve in the form of a capsule bears an external thread for screwing on a union nut engaging behind the collar ring, in that there are arranged, in the interior of the sleeve in the form of a capsule, merely a single flexible ring, the width of which is a number of times greater than its thickness, and a single spacer ring, and in that the...
