PURPOSE:To manufacture a dental casting by a dental precision casting method easily with high dimensional accuracy by limiting a composition to a range enclosed with specific A, B, C, D, E and F in an Au-Cu-Zn ternary-system composition figure. CONSTITUTION:The dental Au-Cu-Zn alloy has a composition which is within a range enclosed with points A, B, C, D, E and F in the Au-Cu-Zn ternary- system composition figure. Each of the above points is as follows, by weight %: point A (63% Au, 11% Cu, 26% Zn); point B (55% Au, 17% Cu, 28% Zn); point C (55% Au, 18% Cu, 27% Zn); point D (63% Au, 14% Cu, 27% Zn); point E (65% Au, 12% Cu, 23% Zn); and point F (65% Au, 11% Cu, 24% Zn). |
