Central heating installation

In a central heating installation with a number of radiators fed via a parallel pipe system, the forward run supply pipe starting from the heating boiler and the return run removal pipe running back to the boiler are, for the purpose of an improved and more uniform distribution of the heating liquid to the individual radiators, connected at the opposite ends of the parallel pipe system. This takes place either by means of an additional third supply pipe or by making the usual double supply pipe as a parallel ring pipe which is interrupted at the location of the heating boiler and is connected on one side to the forward run as well as on the other side to the return run of the heating boiler. The further advantages of the system lie inter alia in the possible use of very low pipe cross-sections for the supply pipes and in the saving of thermal insulation means for the same. Furthermore, in gravity-less operation also, such as e.g. in single-storey heating systems, only a low pump capacity is required.
